Furia Guide: The Healer Who Stuns Back
Furia, Angel of Vengeance — once Sarah, whose sister Abby was sacrificed to an Abyssal rift and came back as Seris. Sarah prayed to the Eternal Pyre for the strength to answer, and the Pyre made her its weapon: a support with 1000-point heals every three seconds, a 660-DPS blade, and Pyre Strike — a beam that crawls through walls and stuns whatever it touches.
She has also been rebuilt more than once. Between February 2023 and May 2024 she lived through the short-lived Keyword system, a full talent rework and two rounds of restored numbers — in the developers’ own words from patch 7.3, Furia “has seen a lot of changes over the past 2 years.” The old Exterminate, a beam that parked on you and could kill you through a wall, is gone. The final balance patch, 8.1 (January 2025), touched her last: Cherish now heals Furia herself.
And the ranked data holds a warning. In archived PaladinsGuru stats from 2025, the two most-played Furia loadouts are exactly the game’s own presets — and the Exterminate preset wins just 41–46% of its matches in every snapshot. The builds that win are the ones players put together themselves.
A Pyre-forged blade that fires a spread burst — 660 DPS from a 12-round magazine, but fully effective only to 35 units. Cut to 315 during the 2023 Keyword experiment and restored to 330 in patch 7.3 (May 2024). This is a support that has to stand close to hurt you.
A targeted heal on the ally under your reticle, at up to 200 units: 1000 instantly, 400 more over two seconds, and up to 15% extra the lower their health is. Every three seconds, from well beyond her own 35-unit blade — and every point of it charges Wrath.
A pillar of searing light that crawls forward through walls and obstacles: 350 damage and a 1-second Stun to enemies in its path, then 20 damage every 0.07s to anyone who stays inside. The beam lives for 4 seconds and stuns each target once per cast — your answer to anyone diving your backline.
Surge 45 units backwards while three seeking projectiles hunt enemies for 250 each — 750 if all connect. Your only escape, knockback-immune while it lasts, and since patch 7.3 (orbs up from 200) a real damage tool. Jump first and the orbs fly wherever your camera points.
Channel the Pyre for 2 seconds — Immune and cleansed of every status effect — then grant yourself and every ally within 150 units 30% weapon damage and movement speed, plus a full reload. No line of sight required. Jump before you cast and she rises into the air.
Kindle Soul also heals allies within 50 units of your target at 50% strength, so one heal can land on a whole cluster. Since the final 8.1 patch it heals Furia herself and carries Kindle Soul card effects to everyone it touches. The most-picked talent (52–57%) and the best-performing: 52.5–52.9% winrate across 2025.
The Kindle Soul build that peaked at 62.8% in the archived ranked data (April 2025). Since patch 8.1, Cherish passes the Light of Dawn shield and the Light Forge speed to every ally in the splash — each 3-second heal becomes a group shield and a speed burst. Fair warning: it swung between 48% and 63% on about 100 matches per snapshot, so treat it as a direction, not a verdict.
- Kindle Soul on cooldown: 1400 healing every three seconds at 200 units is the job, and every heal feeds Wrath.
- Aim heals at clumps — the Cherish splash reaches allies within 50 units of your target, and since 8.1 that includes you.
- Hold Pyre Strike for the diver. A 1-second stun at the moment a flank commits is worth more than 350 poke damage.
- Shoot between heals: with full Wrath your blade fires 30% faster, and a full meter waits 7.5s before it decays.
Re-press Pyre Strike to stop the beam in place; it heals every ally inside — Furia included since 2024 — for 175 every 0.1s, and allies keep healing for 1.5s after stepping out. A 1750-per-second healing zone that still stuns on the way in. Picked 32–38% of the time at a steady ~50.5% winrate.
The game’s own Solar Blessing preset — and the most-played Furia loadout in the archive, roughly 2,000 matches per snapshot at 47–51%: a coin flip, not a trap. Solar Flare widens the healing zone and Stoke the Fire brings it back sooner; if you want more beams, move points from Burning Oath into Stoke the Fire.
- Park the beam where your team will stand, not where the enemy is — re-press to stop it on the point or behind your shield.
- Send it through the enemy frontline first: it still stuns on the way, then stops on your own side.
- Rotate allies through it instead of asking them to camp — 1.5s of lingering heal travels with them.
- Watch for Willo: a Dead Zone on a parked beam blocks all of that healing.
Each Wrath bar grants 15% attack speed instead of 10% — up to +45%, roughly 957 DPS against the base 660. The October 2023 rework replaced the old wall-piercing kill beam; what is left posts her lowest winrate (45.3–48.7% on about 10% of picks).
Skip the in-game Exterminate preset: it wins 41–46% in every archived snapshot on about 1,000 matches each — the worst of Furia’s popular builds. This cooldown loop posted 58.8% (177 matches, March 2025) and 51.0% (153, June): with Stoke the Fire at 5, three orb hits can refund Pyre Strike’s whole 12-second cooldown, and every beam hit shortens the next Wings.
- Heal before you fight: about 3000 healing fills all three Wrath bars, and the +45% only exists while the meter is up.
- Open with Pyre Strike, follow with Wings of Wrath — three orb hits bring the beam back for a second stun.
- Your blade is fully effective to just 35 units: close in behind the stun, and keep Wings of Wrath for the way out.
- You are still the healer. A dead frontline costs more than any kill Exterminate can buy.
Furia has one escape — a backwards leap on a 10-second cooldown — and a blade that is fully effective only to 35 units, so she lives close to the fight. Pyre Strike is slow and readable: bait it, dash around it, and the next twelve seconds belong to you. Inflame opens with a 2-second immune channel; save your burst for after it, not into it. // COMMUNITY RESOURCES
Is Furia good in 2026?
A-tier, score 0.55 in our community-consensus tier list — and one of its most disputed placements: both PaladinsGuru lists grade her S, two other sources put her at B, for a 0.64 spread. She ranks 22nd by pick rate, the first champion in this guide series from outside the top 16.
The archive favors her default talent. Cherish wins 52.5–52.9% across four 2025 snapshots on more than half of all picks; Solar Blessing holds around 50.5%, and Exterminate trails at 45–49%. The kit rewards timing over volume — in the developers’ words, a hybrid healer who relies on “acting in specific moments to help swing fights.”
How do you counter Furia?
Dash through her beam. Koga is her hardest counter by a wide margin (−78, three votes in four): Pyre Strike crawls, and a flank with a dash in reserve simply steps around it, then dives a support whose only escape is a backwards leap on a 10-second cooldown. Talus (−50) and Willo (−31) follow — and Willo’s case is specific: a Dead Zone on a parked Solar Blessing beam blocks every point of its healing.
Respect the sequence, not the damage. Pyre Strike stuns each target once per cast, so bait it and the next twelve seconds are yours. Burst her after Inflame’s 2-second immune channel, not during it — and if she runs the Stoke the Fire and Ignition loop, three orbs connecting means a second stun is already on its way.
FAQ
What is the best Furia talent?
Cherish — a 52.5–52.9% winrate on 52–57% of picks across four 2025 PaladinsGuru snapshots, ahead of Solar Blessing (about 50.5%) and Exterminate (45–49%). Since the final 8.1 patch, its splash heal also covers Furia herself and carries Kindle Soul card effects to every ally in range.
Is Exterminate still good on Furia?
Not on the numbers. The October 2023 rework turned it into up to +45% attack speed at full Wrath, but it posts the lowest winrate of her three talents, and the in-game Exterminate preset loadout wins only 41–46% of its matches — the worst of her popular builds in every archived snapshot.
Does Furia’s Pyre Strike go through walls?
Yes — the beam travels forward through obstacles, dealing 350 damage and a 1-second Stun to enemies in its path, then 20 damage every 0.07s to anyone who stays inside during its 4-second lifetime. Each target can only be stunned once per cast.
